We run tournaments and events around New Zealand, not just in Auckland. Our biggest is the Manuka Doctor Road to the ASB Classic, with regional qualifiers in Christchurch, Wellington, Hamilton and Auckland and the finals on Centre Court at the ASB Classic.
Sign up hereThe Manuka Doctor Road to the ASB Classic brings together the best 8 boys and 8 girls aged 14 and under from around New Zealand, and gives them an experience that goes far beyond tennis. They watch the best players in the world up close, train on the same courts, compete on the same courts and see what happens behind the scenes at a professional tournament. The finals are played on Centre Court.
The tournament runs four regional qualifiers around the country. Seven boys and seven girls qualify directly, and one wildcard in each draw goes to either a player who couldn't play qualifying because of injury or the highest-ranked player who lost in qualifying. We want this to be a platform for players to build off: to understand what it's like to compete at the biggest events, to see a higher level of professionalism up close, and to get their first taste of playing at the ASB Classic before they do it as professionals.
We're grateful to have Manuka Doctor supporting the event yet again. 2027 is our fifth year running it.
