We’d like to give a special mention to Sasha Situe, the very first player at Lavie Tennis Academy, who last week made her debut representing New Zealand at the Billie Jean King Cup in India.
We’d like to give a special mention to Sasha Situe, the very first player at Lavie Tennis Academy, who last week made her debut representing New Zealand at the Billie Jean King Cup in India.
In a historic result, Team New Zealand qualified for World Group One — the first time in over 30 years. The team was led by Lulu Sun and Monique Barry, with Sasha stepping up to make her debut, marking a proud milestone for her and the Academy.
We’re incredibly proud of Sasha — especially after the setbacks she’s faced with injury over the past few years. To see her break through onto the world stage is a huge achievement.
We can’t wait to follow her journey on the Pro Tour this year, and we’re so excited to see what’s next.
