Every player gets an individual programme built around their goals, school and tournament calendar. Here is what it includes.
Tennis
Daily on-court training with our performance coaches at Blockhouse Bay, on five indoor and five outdoor courts.
Fitness and physio
Strength and conditioning with our fitness team, plus physio support to keep players healthy.
Study
Supervised study built into the week. We work with education providers such as Crimson Education and Aotearoa Infinite Academy.
International touring
A planned tournament schedule, with our coaches travelling with players.
Your own plan
We set goals with each player and family and review the plan through the year.
Our players have won national titles and ITF junior titles, competed and won internationally, and represented New Zealand.
Sebastian Lavie is a former New Zealand Davis Cup player and NZ number one junior who played the junior Grand Slams and on the ATP Tour. He was Tennis New Zealand's High Performance Coach of the Year in 2017, has coached ATP and WTA top 100 players and has captained New Zealand junior teams. He leads a team of performance coaches, fitness trainers and physios.
Your lead coach
Every player is assigned a lead coach who works with them throughout the year. Your lead coach runs the training plan, plans tournament travel and handles the organisation with your family, so there is always one person who knows the full picture.
Every player is different
We build each programme around the individual: their game, their goals, their school and their body. We work closely with parents and any other coaches involved, so the player gets the right environment to improve.
From matches back to the practice court
Our coaches are courtside at tournaments. What we see in matches goes straight back into training, so practice time is spent on what actually matters in competition.
One team around the player
Tennis coaches, fitness trainers and physios work together on one plan, so on-court work, conditioning and recovery all point the same way.
Tell us about your player: age, current level, recent results and goals.
Your player trains with the squad so our coaches can see where they fit.
