The Lavie Tournament Series

Lavie puts a significant emphasis on organising tournaments and providing competitive opportunities. During the course of our one-day events, players will compete in three matches played in a short format. This gives players the opportunity to compete against various opponents with different game styles.

All matches count towards the WTN ranking and the New Zealand ranking system. We strongly encourage competitive players of all ages and levels to participate in our Lavie Series, which is scheduled throughout the school term, with over 40 events per year.

 

Road to the ASB Classic

The Lavie Tennis Academy is proud to present the second edition of the Road to the ASB Classic. The event involves 16 boys and girls from around the country competing at the ASB Classic, with the finals held on Centre Court in front of a packed house.

  • Qualifying events will take place in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Hamilton on the 12th of November 2023.

  • The main event will take place at the ASB Tennis Centre from the 10th to the 12th of January 2024.

  • Players born in 2010 and younger are eligible to play.

  • No entry fee is required to participate; however, the draw is restricted to the top 8 or 12 players, depending on the region.

  • Two wildcards (one boy, one girl) will be given to players who entered the qualifying events but could not compete due to participating in an international event at the same time or had to withdraw due to an injury, provided they submit a medical certificate. Alternatively, the wildcard will be awarded to the highest-ranking player (on MatchHub) who lost in a qualifying event.
